The Tesla Cybertruck is facing its sixth recall In one year, affecting 2,431 units. A report from Tesla found that those trucks were equipped with or were equipped with a defective motor inverter. Unlike the October Cybertruck recall, which could be resolved through an over-the-air update, Tesla will need to replace the drive adapters that were actually recalled for this batch. The electric vehicle manufacturer said it would do so for free.
Elon Musk will co-lead President-elect Donald Trump’s team Government Efficiency Administration, whose acronym refers to Musk’s favorite cryptocurrency. Musk will lead the department with biotech entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to help the Trump administration “dismantle government bureaucracy, cut redundant regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies.”
