It is known that Marc Benioff got into the technology field when he was a child writing games. He has always loved technical gadgets. During an episode of TechCrunch’s Equity, when asked about his latest gadget, he showed off his Oura ring. But then he thought and said that his favorite tool these days is his car. “I think my car is really advanced,” he said. He particularly likes GM’s OnStar program — GM is a Salesforce customer.
When asked which make and model he likes, the billionaire admitted that he has many cars, and he loves them all. Since he spends a lot of his time at his home on Maui, which is primarily a rural area — where he was during the podcast call — he’s also been riding in trucks lately.
“I love trucks now. So I have a lot of trucks. I’ve got GM trucks. I’ve got the new Silverado. I’ve got a Hummer EV. I’ve got two Ford Lightnings. It’s amazing,” he said of the F150 electric car.
One of the reasons he had so many new vehicles is because he was promoting Salesforce’s AI agent technology to the technology leaders at all of these companies. All of the brands are Salesforce customers, as is Toyota, a fact he acknowledged by jokingly saying: “I love all my kids.”
He has also ordered a new Volkswagen EV bus, which has not yet been delivered.
“Yes, this is fun,” he said.
