A US Senator announces a new draft law to secure telecommunications companies in the wake of Chinese hacks

US Democratic Senator Ron Wyden announced a new bill aimed at securing US phone networks and US communications in response to the massive hack of telecom providers allegedly carried out by Chinese government hackers.

Wyden made the announcement in a press release on Tuesday US Secure Communications Act.
